Hello everyone, so similar to yesterdays post I am going to be reviewing some of the products that I purchased in my boots haul last week and today I thought I would review the lipsticks that I purchased and show you my Rimmel lipstick collection as well.

As Boots currently have a 3 for 2 offer on selected Rimmel cosmetics I decided to buy a few new lipsticks with this offer as I do not own that many lipsticks and I am trying to wear lipstick more often meaning that my lipstick collection was most likely going to grow.
The lipsticks I picked up were Coral Queen, Heather Shimmer and Kate Moss 16 which is pinky colour and I already own Vintage Pink, which was featured in my January Favourites post and as I haven’t reviewed any of these lipsticks properly I thought I would give my thoughts on each shade and my overall thoughts on the Rimmel lipstick range.
Coral Queen: As the label probably gives away this shade is a bright coral/red shade which I was a little skeptical about trying but I actually really like it as it brings out the colour in my cheek bones and mixes up my everyday look with a bold lip colour. This lipstick is from the Moisture Renew collection which I find go on so smoothly and make my lips look really moisturised when they are actually really dry and cracked!
Vintage Pink: As I said above I already owned this lipstick and I picked it up because I really liked the shade as bright pinks don’t normally suit me so I thought this deeper pink would be a really nice choice and I have to say it is my favourite lipstick that I own, it’s not too bright that it works really well for a natural day look and I can also wear it on nights out if I don’t want a bright lip colour. Again this is from the Moisture Renew collection which I love as it makes my lips look really moisturised and lasts a fair amount of time but I do have to reapply a couple of times throughout the day especially after eating.
Heather Shimmer: As I do not really own any deeper shades I was looking for a deep red shade but after swatching this on my hand I really liked the colour as the deep pinky/brown shade really suits my skin tone without washing me out. This lipstick is from the Lasting Finish collection which is supposed to last a longer amount of time which I agree it does but I do find myself reapplying just to freshen it up.
Kate Moss no.16: As many bloggers seem to be purchasing lipsticks from the Kate Moss range I thought I would see what all the fuss was about. Now my local Boots store was a right mess, with testers in the wrong place or missing and some shades out of stock or ruined due to there being no tester for that shade, but I eventually came across this shade which is a bright pinky/light coral shade which I really liked when swatched but when I apply this you can see straight away the dryness of my lips which isn’t good in my books, so I only really wear this when my lips are in a decent condition which is very rare but I would still recommend trying out this range as some of the shades are really nice.
Have you taken advantage of the 3 for 2 offer?
