20th Birthday Celebrations

As most of you probably know, it was my 20th birthday on Sunday. I just want to say a huge thank you for all of the lovely birthday wishes from you guys, it really added to my day and it was just really cute!

As I mentioned on Sunday I had a kind of quiet day as I finished work quite late on Saturday night. So after a little lie in, I opened my presents in the morning and then went out for lunch in Stafford which was really nice. We also made an unexpected trip to Ikea and we picked up a few bits and bobs for my new bedroom as I received money for my birthday specifically to pay for things for my new room when we move house in a couple of months.

On Monday night, my family, my friend Megan and I went to Zizzi’s as my proper birthday meal. Now I love Italian food and I love the food in Zizzi’s, it’s so much nicer than the bland crap you get in Pizza Express and it has a little more elegance to it.

I also really like the quirkiness to Zizzi’s from the menu’s to the way in which the food is served. I had a Calzone, which is basically a folded pizza with all the goodness inside! Soooo good! I also had a cake, which I knew about because my mum is crap at hiding things from me, but it was a cute touch and was a nice way to end our meal.

All in all i’ve had a really good birthday, kinda quiet but i’m saving my excitement for Thursday night as that is when i’m celebrating with all of my friends which should be a heavy yet enjoyable night.

I’ll be posting a kinda birthday haul (although I don’t like calling that), either tomorrow or Thursday just to share with you guys what I got as I always love seeing what other people have got for their birthday!
