NOTD: Maybelline ‘Mint for Life’

I’ve decided not to continue with the monthly round up posts for the time being as last months wasn’t really read much and I didn’t want to waste my time putting together another for it to go to waste basically. Moving on…

As most of you saw in my recent beauty haul (post here) I finally picked up the Maybelline ‘Mint for Life’ Nail Polish and after featuring in my July Favourites I thought it was about time I reviewed it for you.

Maybelline ‘Mint for Life’ – Superdrug (£4.09)

The Maybelline ‘Mint for Life’ Nail Polish is this lovely mint green shade, as you can probably tell from the name of this shade and in my eyes is probably the nicest mint nail varnish I have ever owned although I still have my eyes on Essie’s ‘Mint Candy Apple’.

I’ve been wearing this on and off ever since I bought it a few weeks ago and I can honestly say I love the everything about this nail varnish. It applys really easily with a wider brush that covers the whole nail in one brush stroke and it dries super quickly. As it is described as a gel nail varnish it is kind of thicker than your typical nail varnish meaning you only need two coats max to get a really nice coverage that lasts for such a long time. I think i’ve managed 5 days so far without any chips and that was without a top coat!

This shade is also perfect if you want to brighten up your nails, especially as bright/pastel colours are very on trend this summer as always. All in all i’m pretty impressed and i’m tempted to get a few more of these Maybelline Super Stay nail varnishes.

Have you tried this nail varnish yet?
