If you guys saw my recent beauty haul (post here) you probably saw that I picked up a set of the Revlon Scented Nail Varnishes, which I had never come across or heard about before, so I was super excited to see what these were all about and I thought i’d share with you guys!
L-R: Passion Fruit, Bubblegum, Mad About Mango Revlon Scented Nail Enamel – Boots (£6.49 each) |
When I saw these in TKMaxx I instantly snapped these up as I was instantly drawn to the vibrant shades, unfortunately I think these shades that i’m showing you are no longer available as they are limited edition shades but Boots stock the new limited edition shades, which are really cute.
The Revlon Scented Nail Enamel made with Revlon’s exclusive silk-protien shield designed to deliver smooth and chip resistant colour infused with sweet scents to the nails that is said to last up to 10 days when a base and top coat is applied.
‘Passion Fruit’, which is this beautiful purple shade that has slight pink undertones to it. Unfortunately I didn’t really get a scent from this nail varnish like the other two shades, there is a slight scent but it’s not noticeable enough to figure out what it is. ‘Bubblegum’ is a lovely vibrant pink that is so pigmented, it’s look so good on the nails. This shade smells exactly like bubblegum with a slight fruity hint to it, which is actually really potent and lasts a fair few days on the nails. ‘Mad for Mango’ is a really summery orange shade, again very pigmented and is probably my favourite out of the three. I love wearing this one on my toes. As you can tell from the name this shade smells just like mango’s, very fruity and again lasts really well on the nails.
I really like this range from Revlon, as all of the shades have a super glossy and shiny finish to them that really helps to liven up the shades and make them appear really nicely on the nails. I’ve been rocking these mainly on my toes, but these last so well on the nails even without a top coat! Thumbs up from me!
Have you tried out this range?
