Today I have the first instalment of my Christmas Gift Guide series, which will be running over the next couple of weeks! This one I was super excited to put up first because the lovely people at Fragrance Direct contacted me about reviewing some of the amazing gift sets they have in stock which, if you know someone who loves perfume then these will make the perfect Christmas Present.

The first gift set I chose was the Marc Jacobs Dot Gift Set, which I had been dying to get my hands on ever since giving this a sniff a few months ago. The first thing that drew me to this was the cute bottle packaging that resembles a lady bug and the gift set packaging just adds to the cuteness with that big red bow! I love this scent, it’s the perfect fruity feminine fragrance with top notes of red berries, honey suckle and dragon fruit, which instantly draws you in. With subtle hints of vanilla and jasmine this fragrance is perfect for the sophisticated girly girls of today. This beautiful gift set also includes a body lotion and shower gel that leaves your skin smooth and soft, with a subtle hint of the Dot fragrance that lingers all day.
The second gift set I chose was the Vivienne Westwood Boudoir Gift Set. This fragrance i’ve heard a lot people raving about, describing it as a musky yet sophisticated fragrance that represents strong independent women. Top notes of vibernum and madarin introduce hints of cinnamon, tobacco leaves, english red rose and vanilla which round off the fragrance beautifully. For me this fragrance is a little too musky for my liking, which is shame but if you know someone who prefers muskier scents over fresh floral scents then this would make an awesome Christmas present. The packaging is so cute, I love how the box doubles as a vanity with the little mirror in the lid and the bottle is so cute, but still very sophisticated. This beautiful gift set also includes a body lotion, which is a lovely little extra and i’m sure would leave your skin feeling super smooth and soft.
