So far it seems you guys are really enjoying this ‘Best of 2013’ series and i’m so glad as i’ve put quite a bit of time into getting these up. Next up is hair and it’s safe to say my hair has been through a lot this year and I think without the knowledge i’ve learnt through the blogosphere my hair condition would not have improved as much as it has.
Dove Nourishing Oil Leave-in Conditioner Spray – Boots (£3.59), Tresemme Platinum Strength Deep Conditioner – Boots (£5.69), Aussie 3-Minute Miracle – Boots (£4.99), Tigi Curls Rock Curls Booster, Nice’n Easy Hair Colourant – Boots (£5.99), Tangle Teezer Aqua Splash – Boots (£13.99) |
Again, i’ve narrowed it down to five products all ones that have really stood out to me this year and helped maintain my hair and improve it’s over all condition.
Dove Nourishing Oil Care Leave-in Conditioning Spray – This product is one that I discovered back in the summer and I honestly don’t know what i’d do without it. I apply this to my hair, focusing on the ends whilst my hair is still wet and once it has dried, my hair is left so soft and nourished. I also found during the warmer months, spritzing this onto the ends of hair throughout the day helped to stop the sun drying my hair out so much. Not to forget, this is soooo cheap!
Deep Conditioners – Now for this I couldn’t narrow it down as both of these i’ve loved this year. Starting with the Aussie 3-Minute Miracle Deep Conditioner, i’ve been using this for a long time and it will always be my favourite quick fix deep conditioner, especially during the summer. More so recently, i’ve been opting for the Tresemme Platinum Strength Deep Conditioning Treatment as I find this one works better on my hair during the colder months. I always deep condition my hair at least once a week and both of these are great for me.
Tigi Curls Rock Curl Booster – Moving onto my favourite styling product. This product i’ve spoke about a couple of times on my blog and I love it for enhancing my hairs natural waves. I spray and scrunch this into the mid lengths to lower ends of my hair just to give my hair a little more definition and hold. I also use this when i’ve curled my hair just to loosen up the curls whilst holding them in place. Unfortunately this product, I believe has been discontinued so when I eventually use this up i’m not sure what i’m going to do.
Nice’n Easy Permanent Hair Colour – If some of you didn’t know, my hair isn’t naturally brown but i’ve been dying it this colour for a good three years now and this has been and always will be the dye that I use. I get on so well with it. I find it works so well to cover my roots, whilst giving my hair some lovely tones and highlights. I don’t always use the exact same colours, but usually the darker brown kits work well for me and they are quite affordable.
Tangle Teezer Aqua Splash – I couldn’t not include one my Tangle Teezers. I love both of them, they work so well to get through the knots that form in my hair throughout the day but I find that they don’t pull or rip on the hair and i’ve noticed since using these the amount of damage within my hair has reduced. I couldn’t recommend them enough, they are so worth it.
