Beauty Picks: Spring Ready Makeup

With it now being March, i’m already looking to the warmer days that will hopefully be with us soon. I say that when we’re supposed to have snow this week, but one can dream right?!

The Body Shop Honey Bronzer – The Body Shop (£13), Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush (Not available in UK), Erborian BB Creme Light –  Space NK (£12.50), Bourjois Color Boost Lip Crayon – Boots (£7.99)

I’m already lusting over lighter bases, subtle rosey cheeks and summery bold lips, so I thought this would be a great opportunity to share the products I will be reaching for this spring and possibly summer.

First up is my base/foundation of choice and that is the Erborian BB Creme Light, which I used to death last summer and managed to repurchase whilst in London last month. I love its lightweight, yet medium coverage that you wouldn’t expect of a BB Creme and it also works so well with a tan. Moving onto cheek products and the first product is my bronzer of choice being The Body Shop Honey Bronzer, which I will be reaching for when it comes to light contouring. It works so well with my pale skin tone adding just enough bronze without it looking muddy or orange and it works really well to create a natural looking contoured cheek bone. The next cheek product in question is the Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in the shade ‘Peaceful‘. I’ve really neglected this recently as my cheeks have had the natural flushed look all by themselves what with the cold windy weather, but during the spring I do love a little touch of pink to the apples of my cheeks and this is just a lovely blush. As for lips i’m opting for my favourite products and those are the Bourjois Color Boost Lip Crayons. I loved these last summer as they were easy to add a quick sweep of colour to the lip, whilst also being really build able for a bright bold lip.

So those are my spring makeup picks. I might make this into a little series, if I come across any other products that will be great for the upcoming spring months.

What products are you looking forward to getting back into for the warmer months?
