Following on from their best selling Iconic Palettes, Makeup Revolution have recently released their Iconic Pro Palettes to add to their Iconic Palette line and when one landed on my doorstep, I was so excited to see what was in store.
With the new palettes has come a new design, with the Iconic Pro Palettes containing sixteen shades as apposed to twelve, a matte black lid and each palette containing their new Pro 1989 Double-Ended Eyeshadow Brush – which is a massive step up compared to those useless brushes, that you always end up throwing away.
Being a recent palette addict I welcomed the Iconic Pro 2 Palette* (£6.99) with open arms, as the shade range is just lovely and as the palette contains a lovely mixture of both matte and shimmer shades, I knew i’d definitely get a lot of use out of it. The shadows within this palette are somewhat different to that of the original Iconic Palettes, as they are a lot more pigmented but are also so easy to blend and using the new brush has been an absolute dream. The new Iconic Pro Palettes also resemble the Lorac Pro Palettes in many ways, with this palette having a similar variety of shades on offer as to the Lorac Pro 2 Palette but as Lorac isn’t available in the UK I can’t say how similar the shades are. So if you were wanting to try out the Lorac Pro Palettes, these may just be a dupe for them and a lot more affordable also!
What I also love about the palette is the packaging, as always with Makeup Revolution they always seem to get it spot on. The palette itself comes in a lovely rose gold box and the palette itself is so sturdy there is no chance of the shadows breaking. As with all of their palettes, the huge mirror comes in so handy especially when it comes to travelling.
So far i’ve been really enjoying this palette, especially when it comes to a quick eye look as the shadows are so easy to blend it makes the morning rush a little easier!
