I thought it had been sometime since I spoke about the products that i’ve been using recently, but also when it comes down to it I really don’t wear that many products on a day to day basis. However I thought i’d still share the products that I trust enough to make me look somewhat human on a day to day basis.
When it comes to my everyday makeup look, less is more in my case. I only leave myself around half an hour to get ready and out the door most days, so i’ve really whittled down my everyday makeup look but these products I really do trust and do a pretty good job of making me look not only human but also awake most mornings.
For my current base i’ve been loving the combination of these two products. The Rimmel London Wake Me Up Concealer (£5.49) is my favourite, go to concealer for hiding any dark circles, brightening up my under eyes and also just doing a good job at hiding any blemishes. As for foundation the Claudia Louch Mousse Foundation* (£52.50) has been my current go to, especially with the weather being so hot, a lightweight foundation has been a must. This foundation has a lovely whipped like texture that leaves the skin feeling so smooth and light that you don’t really feel like you’re wearing any foundation, but the coverage is just lovely. What is also great is that it keeps me shine free throughout the day, which is a must with the hot weather.
When it comes to cheeks products, I can’t not give my cheeks a little bit of colour as i’d look half dead otherwise. For bronzer i’ve been using a old favourite, The Body Shop Honey Bronzer (£13) as the shade is just lovely and gives me just a good amount of colour to look alive. It’s also great for a subtle contour, which I do from time to time but just an overall bronze is enough for me at the moment. For blusher I tend to switch it up a little more, but i’m still loving the Max Factor Creme Puff Blush (£8.99) and I really need to get my hands on a few more of these as they are just beautiful.
Onto the finishing touches, and right now my brows aren’t in need of that much maintenance as i’ve recently tinted them so a quick sweep of the Benefit Gimme Brow (£18.50) to set them in place and they are set for the day. Lastly for eyes i’ve been keeping it very simple and I can’t remember that last time I wore liquid eyeliner but the Urban Decay Perversion Mascara (£17.50) has been working wonders to make my lashes look absolutely killer. The length and curve that this gives is unreal and I highly recommend trying this one out.
So those are the products that I use on a daily basis for a very easy and effortless work makeup look!
