If you’ve been following my blog for a little while, then you’ll know how much I love a particular Charlotte Tilbury lipstick and I’ve always wanted to try out more of their lipsticks, as well a few base products. Last week, I got an email from their PR to say they were sending me some bits to try, so I thought i’d share what they sent over and give you some first impressions on the products so far.

Just before Christmas the team at Charlotte Tilbury very kindly sent me some products to feature in a gift guide post, of which blew my mind that they actually sent little me some products, so when they said they were sending me more to try, I was absolutely blown away.
Starting off with the one product that i’ve wanted to try for such a long time, is the Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow* (£49) of which a fair few of my friends have, and i’ve seen first hand how amazing this product is, so I was very excited when I opened up the box to see this in there. If you don’t know about this product, this is Charlotte Tilbury’s version of a contour and highlighting palette which comes with a sculpt shade and a highlight shade, of which are in a powder form. Like the true blogger that I am, I waited to photograph this prior to using it so i’ve only used this once, but even on first application I was completely surprised by this. The sculpt shade is the perfect shade for contouring as it’s not warm at all, and the almost ash undertone to it really helps to define the hollows of my cheeks. The highlight I find to being absolutely stunning and appears almost matte in comparison to other highlighters that I have, which I really like as it’s more subtle for everyday wear.
Moving onto the lipsticks, the one product from Charlotte Tilbury that I cannot get enough off! They very kindly sent me three shades to try out, all of which I luckily don’t already own and are all shades I would wear. Starting off with the Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick* (£24) in the shade ‘Walk of Shame‘, which as the name would kind of suggest is a burgundy nude kind of shade which is absolutely stunning. I already own the shade ‘Love Lorn‘ from this range and have worn it to death as the finish is beautiful, and so comfortable to wear.
Also from their lisptick range, they sent me the Charlotte Tilbury Kissing Lipstick* (£24) in the shades ‘Bitch Perfect‘ and ‘So Marilyn‘. Now i’ve not tried any lipsticks from their kissing range but from what i’ve heard, they are really beautiful lipsticks with a slightly more creamy finish. The shade ‘Bitch Perfect’ is a peach toned nude shade, which I don’t own that many off but already i’m a massive fan of this and i’ll definitely be getting more wear out of it in the summer months. The shade ‘So Marilyn’ is a true red with a slight orange undertone, of which I know i’ll get some wear out of when i’m really feeling a red lip!
So those are the bits they very kindly sent over to me to try out, and i’m so excited to start playing more with them and i’ll of course feature more of them in my upcoming content.
