Through lockdown I’ve been exploring my personal style a little more and I have been loving wearing comfy, yet stylish jumpsuits! As lockdown rules are slowly being eased, I am beginning to make some social distancing plans and with that I’ve been excited by the prospect of what outfit I’m going to wear. With that being said, I thought i’d take this opportunity to share with you how I’m planning to be styling three jumpsuits for different wearing occasions from Femme Luxe!

Personally I love a good jumpsuit as they are super easy to style and are so versatile, whatever the wearing the occasion! Over the next few weeks I have a few plans here and there, and what better time than now to show off some recent wardrobe additions to your pals. If you read my loungewear outfits post, you will know that I have been loving a few bits from Femme Luxe recently and they have a variety of jumpsuits to choose from for different wearing occasions, all of which are super affordable and really good quality. From the selection of jumpsuits that they have, I have picked out three different styles of black jumpsuits to show you how to style them up for all of your social distancing plans!
Social Distanced Picnic
As the weather has been really nice over the last couple of weeks, my best pal and I have organised to go for a little picnic half way between where we both live as we’ve not seen each other since February, and I’m so excited to have a good catch up! One of my favourite style of jumpsuits is a strappy jersey jumpsuit as they are super comfy, and can be styled for both casual and dressy occasions. I love to style up a strappy jumpsuit by layering it up with a simple tee for a more casual look, and that is exactly what i’m going to be doing with this Black Strappy Wide Leg Jumpsuit* (£15.99). I really like the asymmetric strap detail to this jumpsuit as it adds a point of difference to the other strappy jumpsuits that I have, and it’s also so so flattering! As you can see, I’ve styled this up with a super simple white tee, white flatform trainers and a simple black cross body bag and I love how this outfit looks!
Sunny Beach Day
As well as a social distanced picnic, another thing I am so excited to do is to go to the beach! Although it’s not the same as sunning yourself in Spain, you can’t beat a good British beach day out and i’m hoping to get one planned in as the summer months roll in. Playsuits are usually my go to when it comes to beach days as they are super easy to throw on over the top of your bikini and they look super cute! I’ve had my eye on this Black Frill Sleeve Skort Playsuit* (£25.99) for a while now, as I love the skort detail to it and also the super cute frilly sleeve detail! It just looks so cute and feminine! As i’m planning on wearing this to the beach, i’ve styled this up my go to macrame style bag to pop my sun lotion, towel etc into. To go with that, i’ve opted for my favourite espadrille sandals and my trusty ray ban sunnies! Netflix & Chill Afternoon
As lockdown/furlough has left many of us spending our free time binge watching our favourite series, or getting lost in a book or two, loungewear has been my go to for the majority of my daily outfits! As well as loungewear sets, I also really love a loungewear style jumpsuit and I instantly fell in love with this Black Long Sleeve Belted Ribbed Jumpsuit* (£26.99). I really like anything ribbed when it comes to loungewear and the belt across the waist is super flattering! With most of my chill days, I usually just style these types of outfits with my favourite slippers and perhaps my dressing gown on slightly cooler days, as comfort is key!
So those are a some styling ideas for three jumpsuits for different wearing occasions, and I can’t wait to be wearing them out and about over the coming weeks!
