My Most Used Aldi Lacura Beauty Products

For a while now I have raved on about how much I love Aldi, especially when it comes to a couple of the beauty products from Aldi. As my collection has grown quite considerably over lockdown, I thought it would make for a great post to share my thoughts on my favourite, and my most used Aldi Lacura beauty products with you all!

I swear I say this in every post at the moment, but if you follow me on Instagram then you will no doubt know that most weeks I share with you the ‘sh*t I buy from Aldi’, but I say ‘sh*t’ I mean ‘It”s the sh*t‘ aka.. I absolutely love what I have bought, and I just need to share it with you! If you didn’t already know, the Aldi Lacura range essentially create some amazing dupe products for our favourite beauty products, including makeup, skincare, beauty tools and even more! With Aldi, it is always a hit and miss kind of pot luck as to what you’re likely to find, as they are forever changing stock, but they have slowly started to bring back popular products here and there. Fortunately for me, the products that they seem to bring back are usually my favourite and most used Aldi Lacura beauty products and hopefully this post will inspire you to give these products a try too!

Aldi Lacura Beauty Products, Aldi cleansers,

Lacura Hot Cloth Cleansers

Starting off with hands down my favourite product range from Aldi, and that is their Lacura Hot Cloth Cleansers! If you’re a lover of a good, creamy cleanser similar to the Liz Earle one, or Superdrugs own, then you will no doubt love this range of cleansers too.

Hot Cloth Cleanser (Original) – Around a year to two ago, Aldi brought out their first of the hot cloth cleanser range, and being the absolute cleanser hoarder that I am, I was really intrigued to try this. Aimed at all skin types, this cleanser works to essentially give your skin a pamper whilst also exfoliating and cleansing at the same time. I find this to be similar to Liz Earles hot cloth cleanser in terms of consistency and the way in which it works on my skin. I used to love the Liz Earle cleanser, but the price tag was enough for me seek alternative options. Personally my skin loves this, especially during the winter. So much so that I stock pile this whenever Aldi have stock, because for £3.99 it’s a steal!

Pink Clay Hot Cloth Cleanser – Following on from how much my skin loved the original, when I saw that Aldi had released a pink clay version I just knew I needed this. Now I have no idea what this is a dupe for, but the addition of pink clay into this is amazing especially if you’ve got slightly blemish prone skin. The pink clay works to draw out impurities, whilst cleansing and exfoliating at the same time. I do find I only need to use this once or twice a week, as my skin is naturally quite dry so I find this can be somewhat drying.

Vitamin C Hot Cloth Cleanser – A few weeks ago, I spotted Aldi’s latest release and this is the Vitamin C version of the hot cloth cleanser. Now I have only used this twice, so I can’t comment too much, but this is designed to help brighten and awaken the skin. Now lets be real, following lockdown I think our skin is gonna be in need of some awakening!

Lacura Face Masks

As well as the hot cloth cleansers range, Aldi have created some amazing face mask options. So much so that I have had to limit myself on the ones that I purchase, given I already own so many different masks. Personally my skin absolutely loves a good face mask around 1-2 times a week, just to destress and release any toxins/impurities from my skin and I always find myself gravitating towards the Aldi Lacura masks over my other ones.

Pink Clay Mask – As an extension to the pink clay hot cloth cleanser, Aldi released their Lacura Pink Clay Mask which I believe is a dupe for the Sand & Sky pink clay mask but for such a more affordable price! Designed to refine your pores by drawing out impurities and leaving your skin feeling fresh, and super clean. Typically when my skin is having a bit of a meh week, I find this just works wonders to really clear my pores, reduce any imperfections and just leave my skin feeling amazing. What I also love about this, is that it comes with a little brush to apply this to your skin which makes it super easy and less messy. Similarly to the hot cloth cleansers, I do often see this restocked from time to time so definitely make sure to check your local store for stock.

Exfoliating Mud Mask – Another great face mask from the Aldi Lacura range is their exfoliating mud mask! I love any type of mud style mask and this one if fab for when you’re in need of a good exfoliation, as it has little gritty bits within the mask that when you massage this into your skin, they work to clear any dry or dead skin cells. This one I don’t tend to use all the time, but is definitely one I reach for more during the winter months when my skin is more on the dry side of life.

Lacura Sheet Masks – Now unfortunately I don’t have any of these currently, but I saw the Lacura Aftersun Sheet Masks in my local Aldi last week and it reminded me of how good they’re sheet masks are! If you love the Garnier sheet masks, then i’d highly recommend trying to find Aldi’s version because you usually get two in a pack and they’re just as good, if not better! They from time to time have different types of sheet masks for different skin types/problems, but they are amazing especially after a long week!

Aldi Lacura Beauty Products

Lacura Toners

Another product that have majorly popular for Aldi’s Lacura range, is their range of toners. Now we all know how good the Pixi toners are, and Aldi have released their own version/spin on these toners with a range of different toners for different skin types/problems. Now I have only tried the one of the three that they have, but I have heard amazing things about all of them.

Healthy Glow Exfoliating Toner – This was the first that I saw Aldi release, and this is very similar to the original Pixi toner from the reviews I have read! Suitable for all skin types, this works to remove impurities and brighten the skin with the help of the 5% glycolic acid to improve your skins overall texture. If this is anything like the Pixi toner, then no doubt my skin will absolutely love this but I already have one of the original Pixi toner so I didn’t feel the need to buy another as such.

Lacura Healthy Glow Exfoliating Toner (£3.99)

Healthy Glow Retinol Toner – I picked this toner up a few weeks ago, as I have been intrigued with retinol products for a while now as I have slowly been getting into acids more through lockdown, and I wanted to see how my skin reacted to this. Designed to reduce impurities, brighten and leave your skin feeling smooth, and soft. As this contains 5% niacinamide, this is an ingredient that I already use within other skincare products and I know how well my blemishes react to this, as it instantly helps to improve the appearance of my skin. I’ve been using this daily for the last few weeks now, and I just love this! It instantly refreshes my skin and helps to reduce the size of my pores, whilst also keeping my blemishes from turning angry and red.

Lacura Healthy Glow Retinol Toner (£3.99)

Healthy Glow Rose Toner – This toner is more suited towards sensitive skin as apposed to the previous two, which are more towards most/all skin types, as rose is a great ingredient to calm but also hydrate your skin. This toner is designed to not only calm the skin but to also hydrate the skin as it contains hyaluronic acid, which is another favourite ingredient of my skins, especially when it is more on the dry side. Unfortunately i’ve not tried this toner as of yet, so I can’t comment on how well my skin reacts to it, but it is definitely one I want to try once i’ve used up my other toners.

Other Lacura Products

To round off this post I wanted to mention a couple of other products that I’ve picked up Aldi, that don’t necessarily fit into a certain category but still worth a mention as I absolutely love them!

Lacura Eco Thoughtful Reusable Makeup Remover Pads – I actually mentioned these in my recent lockdown beauty buys post as I absolutely love them and they are definitely one of my most used Aldi Lacura beauty products! With everyone trying to do a little more to be more eco friendly and planet conscious, these are an amazing reusable option for your cotton pads that you use no doubt everyday! These are very similar to the Face Halo makeup remover pads, and these come with three in the pack and a little wash bag to pop them in when they’re in need of a wash. I’ve been using these for around a month now and they are probably my favourite ever Aldi purchase as they are just fab! They remove your makeup amazingly and are so soft, that they don’t irritate your skin like some flannels can do. If you can get your hands on these, i’d 100% recommend them!

Lacura Makeup Setting Spray – For a while now i’ve wanted to try out a makeup setting spray because my foundation just does not stay put, especially as the weather has turned warmer. So when I saw this one in Aldi, I just had to try it out! Firstly how cute is this marble style packaging? And it was only £3.99 so I couldn’t say no. Now, I haven’t been wearing makeup all that much so i’ve not had chance to properly test this yet, but it is designed to give your makeup a shine free and matte finish to make your makeup stay put all day. I will report back on this at some point i’m sure on what I think of this, but still wanted to mention this as they will no doubt still have some stock of these!

So that is all of my most used Aldi Lacura beauty products! If you haven’t tried out any of Aldi’s Lacura beauty products, then what are you waiting for?! They have so many amazing products for such small prices, that you honestly cannot complain or go wrong!

Have you tried out any of these products?
