For anyone who has read my recent Let’s Catch Up blog post, then you will know that I have recently moved! I’ve moved back to Worcester to be closer to my family and friends, but also to be closer to work which of course means I’ve got an entire new space to make my own! With that being said, I thought it would be great to show you some recent home updates and how I’ve been adding personal touches to my new home!

For me when it comes to my space I love nothing more than it feeling cosy and organised, all whilst representing me and my style. It’s safe to say that I love a simple white room with white furniture where I’m then able to add personal touches of character through the accessories I choose to display and one way that I love to do that is through the use of prints! I just love how prints can bring your space to life, all whilst adding a personal touch and one of my favourite places for prints is Photowall Sweden who specialise in wall murals products including canvases, prints and also wallpapers with over 23,000 different murals to choose from, so you will definitely be able to find wall murals to suit your style.

One area of my room that I have been styling up more recently is my new desk area of which I didn’t originally move with, but have since had a rejig in order to get my desk from my parents house into my new room. It’s been almost a year without a dedicated desk space and one thing I really missed in my previous room was having a desk, so I made it my mission to fit it into my new room. Now my desk area is still very much a work in progress, but the first thing that I wanted to do was to go about adding personal touches to this space and add a big print onto the wall as my new room has really high ceilings and I knew a big print would look amazing on the wall behind my desk. In the recent years I have become a big fan of simple prints with a small hint of colour and when I came across this Just Leaves IV Poster* (from £42) I knew it would be the perfect print for this space and I love how it has brought this space together!

When it came to selecting the size of this print, I measured the wall space that I had to play with and used the customise tool on Photowall’s website in order to select the best size for the space above my desk. I opted for a 70X70cm print and instead of a frame, I selected one of their hanging accessories as I love how these look and I wanted it to tie in with the print I have above my bed, which is the Gently* (from £33) also from Photowall.

If you’re on the hunt for new some prints for your space, then I would highly recommend checking out Photowall and if you do find some prints that you’d like the purchase, please use my discount code styleandsplurging25 for 25% off until October 27th!

So far I am really happy with how my space is looking and I will be sharing more recent home updates with you over the coming months as I have fully got the home styling bug back, and I’m excited to be sharing home content again!
