This week Bali Body have launched another new product into their array of incredible self tanning products and I have been very lucky to have been testing it out of the last month or so, in order for me to share with you my thoughts and an in depth review of the Bali Body Gradual Face Tan* (£28.95). This gradual face tan is designed to become a part of your daily skincare routine as it is enriched with antioxidants and natural moisturising ingredients such as aloe vera, cacao butter and shea butter to keep your skin hydrated, smooth and to help combat signs of ageing all whilst giving you skin that sun-kissed glow!
I have now been using this gradual face tan as part of my daily skincare routine for a good month now and I have found using this of an evening to be the best time to allow the gradual face tan to develop overnight. I typically cleanse my face, removing all my makeup and do all of the standard steps of my evening skincare routine prior to applying the gradual face tan in place of my evening moisturiser. Similarly to a moisturiser, I pump around 1-2 pumps of the product out and apply onto my face and down my neck, ensuring to apply it into the nooks and crannies around my nose, brow area and also around my eyes ensuring i’m careful not to get in my eyes. I then allow this to soak into my skin and dry prior to going to sleep, where I then allow this to develop overnight and come the morning my skin is left looking sun-kissed, glowy and feeling really nourished. I then repeat the same process each evening because with wearing makeup and cleansing, gradual face tanners do tend to fade quicker than a body tan does and this just ensures my face tan is topped up ready for the next day.

(In these images, the only makeup I am wearing is a small amount of brow product and mascara).
As you can see from my above before and after photos, you can see just how amazing this gradual face tan is at completely transforming your skin to have a natural yet golden glow. After having now used this as part of my daily skincare routine for the last month I can hands down say that this is up there with one of the best face tanning products that I ever used, with the Bali Body Face Tanning Water* (£25.95) also being a firm favourite of mine (of which you can read a full review on here). I find that it develops really nicely and evenly over night, leaving my face without any dodgy streaks and I love that this doesn’t cling to any blemishes or dry skin like some face tanners can. Speaking of blemishes, a big concern of mine when using any tanning product on my face is whether it will cause my skin to break out but so far I have had no issues which is a big win for me!
All in all I can’t recommend this product enough, especially if you haven’t tried a specific face tanning product before and are wanting to try something that also benefits your skin, all whilst giving you a golden glow!
